As a Sales Development Representative at Echosec, you will have the opportunity to work with a wide range of companies and organizations from retail giants, luxury brands and other Fortune 500 companies to government public safety and security.

You will report to and work with the Sales and Marketing teams to qualify potential customers, develop and run lead generation campaigns, book product discovery calls, and support sales activities.

Success in this role will mean achieving strategic goals clearly outlined on a quarterly basis.


You…

  • Have a post secondary certification in business administration or a related field or equivalent experience
  • Are comfortable getting on the phone to talk to a potential sales opportunity
  • Have excellent verbal and written communication and presentation skills
  • Are highly organized, detail oriented, and possess strong time management skills
  • Have a positive, customer focused attitude
  • Are willing and able to travel, sometimes on short notice
  • Are creative and willing to try new ideas
  • Are able to work in a fast paced environment, maintaining a strong pulse of the status of your leads

You also preferably (but not required) …

  • Have experience selling software as a service (SaaS) solutions
  • Have worked with Hubspot and / or other email marketing automation tools
  • Can speak a second language

Responsibilities


  • Accurately qualify new inbound leads (option to prospect for outbound leads to hit sales targets) using the BANT framework
  • Follow our sales process that includes prospecting, cold emailing, warm calling, qualifying, and discovery
  • Coordinate discovery and demo calls with the Account Executive team and log all activities/notes in CRM while maintaining strong data hygiene on all contact and deal records
  • Provide discovery information to the Account Executive team to help speed sales cycle
  • Execute the full sales process (from qualification to demo to close) on smaller opportunities
  • Acquire product knowledge about the Echosec platform and the OSINT/SOCINT landscape
  • Stay up-to-speed on product updates and upcoming features
  • Generate interest in our SaaS solution and handle sales objections
  • Build smart, targeted prospecting lists
  • Optimize email sequences by A/B testing across all customer segments
  • Participate in discussions with product and marketing to communicate key insights from interactions with prospects
